Vintage H.H. Frazee "No No Nanette" Sheet Music and "Curse of the Bambino"

This original sheet music is for the hit song "Tea For Two" which was performed in the 1925 Broadway musical "No No Nanette," that was produced and directed by Boston Red Sox owner H.H. Frazee from money he raised from the sale of Babe Ruth to the New York Yankees at the end of the 1919 season. This scarce artifact represents an unforgettable event which gave rise to the "Curse of the Bambino" which many baseball fans believe was executed on the Red Sox after Ruth went to the Yankees. In 1918 the Red Sox won their 5th World Series, the most for any team up until that time. After Ruth's trade the Sox had only appeared in four World Series, losing each time in game 7 until finally breaking “The Curse” with a World Series win, in 2004. Babe Ruth became an instant sensation in his first season with the Yankees, hitting 54 home runs. The Yankees since 1920 have won an astounding 27 World Championships. Whether cursed or not, this rare sheet music is an expression of the mystique the game has held for fans through the ages. Comes with a certificate that unconditionally guarantees the authenticity of this item.
