Vintage Calgary Flames Game-Used Official NHL Hockey Puck

This is a rare, vintage, Calgary Flames game-used official NHL hockey puck featuring the team's logo on one side and the NHL logo on the other, and measuring 3 x 3 x 1. The NHL finally came to Calgary when the Calgary Flames (formerly the Atlanta Flames, named after the great Civil War fire, but kept after a fan poll suggested they keep it for the city's oil industry) took up residence in the Calgary Corral during the 1980/81 season. Their first game was played against the Quebec Nordiques on October 9, 1980, ending in a 5-5 deadlock. The team has gone on to a successful 25 year career, with one Stanley Cup Championship (1989), three Stanley Cup Finals, four Conference Finals, five Division Championships and 16 Playoff appearances. Comes with certificate that unconditionally guarantees the authenticity of this item.
