Original Vintage Masters Tournament (Augusta) 17th Green “Ground Under Repair” Sign

Retrieved from the grounds of the Augusta National Golf Club during The Masters Tournament beneath the “pine straw” near the 17th green, this is a rare, vintage “Ground Under Repair,” sign that was at one time staked into the ground to keep errant golfers and patrons away. Long considered the ideal golf course since its’ 1934 founding in Atlanta, Georgia by legendary golfer Robert Jones, it is little wonder such sturdy signs were used to mark repairs in order to maintain the majestic beauty Augusta is known for. The metal sign measures approximately 9 X 4 and has attached metal stake rods that extend beyond 7 inches to be posted into the ground. The sign is displayed on a 12 X 2.5 X 2.5 wooden base with an attached plaque identifying this rare treasure find from this most prestigious tournament and the most hallowed Augusta National Golf Club. Comes with a certificate that unconditionally guarantees the authenticity of this item.
