Original Palmer & Nicklaus Masters Tournament Photograph with Signed Scorecards

Golfing phenoms Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus are photographed together in this original 10 X 7.75 black and white wire photograph taken during the 1973 Masters Tournament. The photograph is captioned “Looking For Masters Win – Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus …looking for their fifth win (the) prized Masters.” The photograph is stamp dated on the verso with an attached newspaper clipping accompanied by a pair of Augusta National Golf Club Scorecards, each individually signed in black sharpie pen. Augusta is home of the "Masters" tournament that was co-founded (1934) and designed by legendary golfer Robert Jones. Nicklaus and Palmer are considered by many to be two of the greatest golfers ever to play the game. The "Golden Bear," as Nicklaus is affectionately called, is one of golf's foremost legends. During his professional career Nicklaus captured 20 major championships including six Masters tournament’s and is considered by many to be the most talented golfer of the 20th century Palmer, nicknamed “The King” was the winner of the tournament’s famed “green jacket,” envied by all other golfers, on four occasions during his illustrious career.
