Cleveland Indians 1940’s third baseman Ken Keltner has signed and inscribed this 3.5 x 5.5 black & white postcard “To Mike Best Wishes” in black pen. Keltner, one of the premier third basemen of his era was a seven-time American League All Star and a leader on the 1948 World Series Champion, Cleveland Indians. He is remembered for ending Joe DiMaggio’s 56 game hitting streak in 1941 by snagging two line drives down the third base line. The postcard shows Ken Keltner in 1940-41 Cleveland Indians uniform with handwritten notations on the verso. Keltner had a .965 lifetime fielding percentage and hit 31 home runs with 119 RBI's for the 1948 World Champion Cleveland Indians.
