Hollywood legends Lee Strasberg and Al Pacino are caught in thought in this 8 x 10 original black and white photograph. Photographer Robert Fitzgeralds credit stamped on the verso. This is a beautiful close up of Lee Strasberg, considered “The father of method acting” and his pupil Al Pacino, who would go on to win numerous awards including Oscar, Emmy, Tony, Golden Globe and the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Award. Strasberg trained Marilyn Monroe, Paul Newman, Dustin Hoffman, James Dean and Robert De Niro among countless others at his Actors Studio, in NYC. He taught Pacino, best known for his roles in The Godfather 2, Serprico, Dog Day Afternoon, Scent of a Woman and Scarface. The two teamed up together in front of the camera in Godfather 2 in which Strasberg played gangster Hyman Roth. Lee Strasberg ran the Actors Studio from 1951 till his death in 1982, Al Pacino runs it today.Comes with a certificate that unconditionally guarantees the authenticity of this item.
