Jimi Hendrix “Electric Ladyland” Album Outtake Proofs

Unique Jimi Hendrix original outtake proofs for different gatefold designs to “Electric Ladyland, (1968)” his third and final album release by his band, the Jimi Hendrix Experience. Both photographic and art proofs are marked with the Reprise records catalogue number for the album “2RS 6307,” on the matte black paper flip that covers each design element considered for this record release. One measures 7.5 X 10.125 that reveals a small logo design for the album mounted on board beneath a protective onionskin like cover. The other much more colorful artwork measures 11.5 X 12.5 and beneath its’ protective cover flip reveals a portrait cutout of Hendrix set against a colorful 7.5 X 7.75 background. “Electric Ladyland” was the Experience’s most successful release and only number one album.
