SOLD Forty-seven former Brooklyn Dodgers have signed this awesome 20 x 16 black and white photograph taken at Ebbets Field during the 1955 World Series played against the New York Yankees. The signatures were painstakingly acquired over a period of years by an active fan through in person meetings. Among the signors are players who began their career with the Brooklyn Dodgers as far back as the 1930’s and include Hall of Famers and several players now deceased. Signed in blue sharpie pen, signors include: Johnny Podres, Clyde King, Billy Loes, Tommy Holmes, Luis Olmo, Carl Erskine, Gene Hermanski, Pee Wee Reese, Duke Snider, Gino Cimolli, Andy Pafko, Spider Jorgensen, Al Gionfriddo, Joe Pignatano, and Preacher Roe. Many of the signors were players on the World Champion 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers, the only Brooklyn World Championship. This is truly a special signed photograph for even the most serious Brooklyn Dodgers fan. Comes with a certificate that unconditionally guarantees the authenticity of this item.
