Astronaut Robert L. Stewart Signed & Inscribed NASA Publicity Photograph

Astronaut Robert L. Stewart has signed and inscribed this official NASA 8 x 10 color photograph, "To Blake Taylor, Best Wishes Bob Stewart, STS-41B/51J" in black sharpie pen. The numbers he has inscribed refer to his space flight experience. STS-41B "Challenger" (February 3-11, 1984) was launched from Kennedy Space Center, Florida, and returned to land there 8-days later. During the mission, Stewart participated in two extravehicular activities (EVA's) to conduct first flight evaluations of the Manned Maneuvering Units .These EVA's represented man's first untethered operations from a spacecraft in flight. Stewarts second mission into space was the STS-51J "Atlantis"  (October 3-7, 1985). Launched from the Kennedy Space Center, Florida, it was  the maiden voyage of Atlantis, the final Orbiter in the Shuttle fleet. The NASA logo is printed on the verso.
