Abraham Lincoln Monument Signed Original Photograph by Sculptor Charles Keck

This magnificent original Abraham Lincoln Monument photograph is signed in black fountain pen by master sculptor Charles Keck and depicts his Lincoln Monument, the "Great Emancipator," atop the courthouse lawn in Wabash, Indiana, where it was placed on May 31, 1932.  The photograph itself is an impressive 9 X 12 black and white studio original, back stamped by Keck with his name and New York City address. In classic pose, Lincoln's form rests upon a granite base engraved, "LINCOLN - With Malice toward None with Charity for All."  While Lincoln has been the subject of many tributes, Keck's monument is located in the heartland of where Lincoln grew up with his family as a young boy and was once selected by the Lincoln Museum in Redlands, California as the image to appear on its' award certificate presented to Boy Scouts who make the pilgrimage to visit the Lincoln Shrine there.  Keck was a prolific sculptor who studied in the National Academy of Design and Art Students League and was an assistant to famous sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Keck's architectural works and monuments and memorials adorn locations throughout America and elsewhere. Comes with a certificate that unconditionally guarantees the authenticity of this item.
