1996 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony Tickets and Gift Bag
This is an executive gift bag given to select Olympic donors attending the Opening Ceremony of the 1996 Summer Olympics (XXVI Olympiad) taking place in Atlanta, Georgia. The finely tailored quilted bag (14 X 12 X 3) is embroidered on the front with the snap closure “Centennial Olympic Games,” and “Les Jeux Olympiques du Centenaire,” and on the back with the distinctive logo for the 1996 Atlanta Centennial Olympics in gold thread. Included with the bag is a pair of ticket stubs from the Opening Ceremony to the Olympics which featured Canadian singer Céline Dion performing at Olympic Stadium on July 19, 1996. The bag is filled with a gift assortment including flashlights and scarf for attendees to participate in the Opening Ceremony gala. Other items include a beautiful 56 page commemorative book to "The Centennial of the Modern Olympic Games," a special boxed 1996 Olympics Games Collector’s Pin Set, a special Olympic Preview Issue of “Sports Illustrated” Magazine, and an Opening Ceremony T-Shirt with the sponsor insignia of an Atlanta based American media conglomerate signed by an unidentified signor in black pen, and several other loose pins. This is a fine ensemble for collectors of Olympic gear. Comes with a certificate that unconditionally guarantees the authenticity of this item.
