Filled out as the visiting team for a game played against the Texas Rangers on April 30, 1983, this line-up card features the hand printed line-up and changes in blue ballpoint pen. With Guidry pitching the game, the Yankees shut out the Tigers by a score of 7-0. Featured players include Dave Winfield, Graig Nettles, Ken Griffey Sr., and starting pitcher Ron Guidry. Martin played for the Yankees from 1950 to 1957 and was named World Series MVP in 1953. In 1975 he began the first of five terms as Manager of the team he loved so much.
