1974 Bennie Briscoe vs Rodrigo Valdez Middleweight Championship Fight Poster

This is an extremely rare original on-site fight poster for the WBC World Middleweight Title fight between Columbian boxer Rodrigo Valdez and Philadelphia native “Bad” Bennie Briscoe. The artistically stunning cardboard poster measures 14 X 19.75 and is printed in French from the May 25, 1974 fight that from the Stade Louis II, Monte Carlo, Monaco. This was the second of three meetings between these two fighters; both who were recognized as among the greatest punchers of all-time. Valdez scored a 7th round knock- out against Briscoe, the only time in 96 fights that he was ever stopped by knock-out.
