1973 Broadside Muhammad Ali Presenting World Welterweight Championship Fight

This rare broadside promotes the World Welterweight Championship Fight presented by Heavyweight Champion Muhammad Ali between World Champion Jose Napoles and Canadian Champion Clyde Gray at the Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto on September 22, 1973. This 8 X 10.5 broadside pictures both fighters beneath the title, "Muhammad Ali Presents...World Welterweight Championship," where the small face of Ali appears. Napoles retained his title in a 15 round decision. Ali, taking a rare turn at fight promotion was returning to the site where in 1966 he defeated George Chuvalo, Canada's Heavyweight Champion, to retain the World Title.
