1963 Greyhound Racing Trophy Biscayne Kennel Club “Velos” All Florida Championship

Velos was owned by famous greyhound racing pioneer Happy Stutz. Velos was later named the most outstanding female in greyhound racing in 1964 when she won a berth on the 1964 All-America team and was the winner of the Hollywood Derby and the $25,000 All-Florida Championship. The rare trophy weighs an impressive 14.5 pounds, stands 24" high with a formidable base that measures 12" x 12". A plaque mounted on the base provides the details for this Championship award.
